ParticipantListen up Sacramento…I’ve decided that from now on I will vote NO on everything you float as a proposition. You’ve clearly shown that there is no point in voting for anything you put on the ballot because anything that some special interest group disagrees with will just be stricken down anyways.
Yo pot smokers…remember this lesson when your proposition comes up for a vote and don’t get too excited. Even if it passes I’m betting it won’t make it through the appeals process.
Gotta love the land of fruits and nuts…clearly there were lots of both involved in today’s ruling.

ParticipantWho’d you use flu?
I noticed that, for once, rates at SDCCU are actually competitive with the rest of the market. I’m seriously considering refinancing. I bailed on refinancing last year because right when I started looking rates started going up.
My first is at 5.875% and my second is at 7.25% for a blended rate of 6.15%.
I’ve been in my house about 7 years. Although I hate the idea of taking out a new 30 year loan, I figure that at 30 year loan rates my payment would be less than my current first and I could keep paying the same amount. That gives me some breathing room if I ever decide to move and rent this place out as I’d almost be in the black (less property taxes) on the payment.

Actually, in the smart phone business, Apple is not very different from the “evil” Microsoft in the PC market. Products full of bugs. But they are the standard. What can we do?
[/quote]That’s why I run Ubuntu and not Windows…and they aren’t gonna be the ‘standard’ for long. Android phones are catching up quickly in sales.
iphones and Apple will always have the fan boy factor but I don’t think they are going to hold their place at the top of the smart phone market after Antenna-Gate and the issues with the 4.0 upgrade on older phones. There are alternatives now that there really weren’t a few years ago.

ParticipantI bit the bullet a few weeks ago and downgraded to 3.1.3. Phone works great again–it’s like having a new phone.
They are probably gonna have to provide official support for downgrading. However, itunes is gonna cause them some grief. Apparently itunes is quick to remove old upgrade files and backups. I had to keep copying the 3.1.3 image into the itunes directory because everytime I’d restart itunes it would delete it. It also kept no copies of my old 3.x backups…only the last one it did after I upgraded to 4.0..which meant that I lost all the preferences for all my apps.
