ParticipantIANAL but by convention the things you mention typically convey with the property. I do not know if it is ‘illegal’ for the prior owner to take these with them but you could certainly bring it up as an issue in the final walk through before you close escrow.

Of course, they were always expert and very strong swimmers because they were on the swim team and or played water polo and all had water rescue, CPR and first aid qualifications.
But don’t let that get in the way of your story.
