Why does the lady in that picture have a halo? Or some kind of aura? Does she have magic powers?
lnilesParticipantLOL – Condo tombs!

lnilesParticipantI would think Home Depot would rally because of all the “fresh paint” sellers need to keep their housing prices up. 🙂
lnilesParticipantHow is the jet noise over there in BP? I live in Sorrento Valley and it’s really annoying at times.
lnilesParticipantHaha that’s true.
lnilesParticipantDang, you guys have caught on to my dream of living in Bay Park. We should all start making low-ball overs on everything there. The location is great: ocean/bay views, quick access to all the traffic corridors, no HOA, no mello-roos, and I 90% of my dining out is in Clairemont. I play vball and surf South Mission every week and have been eyeing the area for some time.
I see 44 detached and 101 attached Bay Park homes for sale in uniontrib. Prices range from $300k to $3M.
This one looks purty and others too.

From FSD. Enjoy!
lnilesParticipantFirst, cut her off completely. You are human, it’s going to hurt, and there is no off-switch for your feelings. The fact that you are listening to her talk about other guys mean you two are still hanging around. That “we are still friends” BS is just a form of clinging on (people tend to want a safety net, holding onto the old until they’re sure the new will take off). Get as far away from her as possible. Take away each other’s safety nets.
Second, channel your engergy into healthy activities where you will meet new people. Don’t try to run out and hook up with someone new, just try to get out there and make friends!
Here’s a club in SD you can join (free) for all sorts of healthy activities for people aged 21-40:
For a laugh check out this story on “four short crushes”. It pretty much describes my daily life.

lnilesParticipantThat’s great news. With a family in tow to boot. I wish I sold my place at the peak, I don’t see myself in it for much longer.
Congratulations! Glad you like your new place.
lnilesParticipantOoh, I found it! It is a charitable contribution to host foreign students, but only up to 12th grade.

SDAppraiser, you may want to mention this “IRS” organization to Homeland Security when you call. They could be affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
lnilesParticipantJust throwin' this out there, from MarketWatch news:
After Thursday's closing bell, Starbucks said it made $150.8 million, or 19 cents a share, in the latest three-month period, vs. $127.3 million, or 16 cents share, in the comparable period a year earlier.Revenue rose to $2.26 billion from $1.89 billion. In its international segment, same-store sales growth stood at 7%.
Personally, any company with revenue in the billions by selling cups of coffee earns respect. I travel to Japan and China every year and only drink my coffee at Starbucks there… Mostly because I'm impressed with their world-wide non-smoking policy (a risky business move in Asia). The queues in those stores are often out-the-door.
For future reference their stock is at $30.70 today.
lnilesParticipantAre you serious SDAppraiser? Hosting foreign exchange students and professors makes you feel insecure? Wanna call security? Please do! Your call to them would be as useful as your posts here.
lnilesParticipantBy voting responsibly, being aware of the issues, and spending money only at business which share your views (companies have all the lobbying power, consumers make them succeed or fail). Just my $0.02
