Participant“The bottom of the market looks like the bottom of the market. Credit terms are tough, underwriting is tough, appraisals are tough and nobody offers the benefit of the doubt. The properties being sold aren’t usually in the best shape and the transactions sometimes get complicated, depending on what’s happening on the seller’s side.”
I bought in November ’95 and moved in Jan ’96. The credit was easy, I got a 6% interest rate, the appraisal was easy, the seller’s had to fix it up some but other than that, there were no complications…….I got really upset when the interest rates started falling after I bought my house. The houses dropped a little further and I could’ve got a little bigger and better house. All my friends who bought around that time had the same experience.

ParticipantI saw an “as is” ad for one in Temecula that was completely gutted, down to the bare walls. No cabinets, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, NOT even the stair banister! The house was over 3000 sq foot and new(’05ish)sold for 200k…..
There was one in Santee, I actually saw the people wheeling out the stove! Too funny.

Participant“I ask anyone who believes this:
Why are you going to the polls?”Because I am voting for the party I believe;
A)will get out of Iraq
B)will not invade my privacy
C)will not appoint judges to the supreme court who will deny my right to choose
D)will not run the country on what “GOD” tells him to do
E)who actually will acknowledge global warmingI am hoping that the leader who gets elected this time can finish a sentence without stuttering and stammering. Among all the things he did that makes me completely embarresed to be and American.
I don’t believe that the way they get elected and the way we vote is very efficient. I voted for the guy with the most votes last time(Al Gore), but he didn’t get elected…..
