The married couples makes $85,000 net MORE than the single guy. The fixed costs like living and food are about the same or neglibily more. If the married couple has car loans then that may be an additional expense, and perhaps gas.

So, the couple’s fixed costs may increase 5 – 10% over a single but their available discretionary income skyrockets making them infact MUCH more wealthy.

When I was in Rome I rented a scooter and it was so easy to park it right in front of the Colosieum because I could squeeze it in a spot, a car would’ve been impossible, infact this time in Europe I had a car and it was a MAJOR pain to park.

As for danger, the more number of them the less dangerous they will become. The danger is often overplayed, when riding you just have to be very alert and defensive and you will be fine. I’ve been riding all my life and have yet to meet with an accident.
