The two companies are called “Mortgage Dept.” and “Oncor Insurance Services LLC”. These are very generic names for a reputable company. The adresses are both with PO boxes and no phone numbers were given. I’m not very confident that these are legit businesses.

We have visited “Serenity” many times. The homes are very nice inside but we did not like the location. Access is inconvenient and most of the lots did not have a good view. Also, we didn’t like the high Mello Roos.

I agree, if you feel comfortable paying him a “goodwill” then by any means do it. But it sounds like you’re not really satisfied with his services. In this case, tell him to forget about it…
