ParticipantAt the current price levels there is not much buying interest and the question is if the seller is willing to compromise on the price. As far as I’m concerned I’m planning to keep the property for at least 10 years.

ParticipantIn my opinion the Miro condos are in high demand for renters and buying one of them at the current levels is a great investment if you keep them for at least 10 years.

Participant
We went to the grand opening last Sat. There are lots of people looking. We are not familiar with del sur, but looking at the map, it seems a less desirable part of del sur. Where do the residents shop? and how is the commute to Sorrento Valley? We went from 15 through 4s ranch to the area. It seems deserted. Also the lots are so small. How is the del sur elementary? It was closed by the time we passed by.
Most residents do their shopping in 4 S Ranch or at Highland Village. It’s not too inconvenient to get there. Yes, the lots are small but the homes are appealing and the price seems to be right. The drawback is the high MR.

ParticipantStandard Pacific just opened 2 new developments at Del Sur. Price range in $700 k range. Would expect a big demand there.
