    I agree with above statements regarding resale homes. I have a few friends who bought new homes and they all said that they would NOT buy a new home again. The work involved to upgrade a home and landscaping was a painful experience. Dealing with the contractors can be very difficult. Also, the final cost is always higher than estimated.
