ParticipantWhat are the current trends in hardwood floors? I did a web search and I am still seeing dark colors, wide planks, non-flat planks (whatever that is called, the “warped/ridged” look), and even gray colors.
I’m hoping for lighter colors and smaller shapes to become trendy again. Is there some trend in lighter brown colors that I can get in front of? Gray does not appeal to me very much.

Hence, it is quite possible that Peak Oil is happening right now, with the price being low and all the producers pumping like crazy. This may be the last gasp before production drops permanently.

What I really hate is the crappy $10 settlements I get for participating in some stock fraud lawsuits. Too much work, although they have improved now with more online entry. The one I hated the most was the one where they made me fill in lots of crap and then eventually I did not qualify because I had sold short. Why did they not tell me that up front, I would have known. Bastards. It’s not like the brokers they got the transaction data from did not know it was a short sale.

My corollary: If you are going to wrestle with pigs, don’t bother trying to do it cleanly. You will loose and the pigs won’t respect you anyway.
