Yeah, jstoesz, it’s ridiculously cheap (by coastal stds . . . lol). I’m just wondering how the commute back and forth to East Sac everyday is going to work out for you and your spouse. Are you aware that there could be several instances per year that US 50 could be closed below Placerville due snowstorms or inability to plow? How ya gonna get out??
Have you considered renting in Grass Valley for awhile? You might like it. I think you could find a rental there that is not on tract.[/quote]
No my job is in cameron park and my wife’s is in el dorado hills. Both of our commutes should be ~15mins without traffic or severe weather. And if we are snowed in…I can think of no better excuse not to go to work. I miss snow days.

I don’t think it’s garish. Luv all the picture windows and stone kitchen hearth. The accoustical ceiling with the dark beams is a little much, but this can be fixed. As can the few remaining aluminum sliders. And it’s downtown, to boot. Wonder if it’s walking distance to the locomotives and antique shops (similar to dtn La Mesa?? . . . lol!)
There’s more room there then you’ll probably ever need for a price you could never touch on the coast. And design galore to boot!!!

It is a serious one, but I wonder if things like Megan’s law website has brought offenders disproportionately to the forefront of our knowledge. Kind of like a person who is afraid to fly looking up plane crashes reports on thier iphone in the taxiway. So I am tempted to stick my head in the sand and pretend it could never happen (based on the numbers, this is pretty rational).
Than again when I look for a place to live, am I going to look and see if there are any offenders near by? Of course, and I will probably freak the crap out of myself when I do. I already try to get my wife to run with mace (sometimes having a cute wife is a serious cause for worry).
So basically, I don’t know. Oh, and the whole John Gardner thing didn’t help at all.
