ParticipantMy wife works for the gov’t. Jobs that are assigned to be completed in 4 months could easily be done in one month. Her coworkers would scold her for ‘working’ because that would take away the overtime. She works about 2 hours a day because if you try to work any more than that you will turn your coworkers against you and they can be very nasty. I will benefit too because she has 401K in addition to a very generous pension. However, I don’t know if it lasts long enough or the gov’t will go bankrupt before she could retires.

Participant51% for the year. The problem is I lost 50% last year so I am still in the red. 40% in Asia Pacific, 30% in Emerging Markets and 30% in US and Canada.

ParticipantShe is on the news again. This time, she is fined $750. Usually I am not violent but I want to kick her in the face.
“The defendant said she lost her job last year and told her lenders she and her family couldn’t afford $5,800 in monthly payments.”

ParticipantIt would have been a lot cheaper to build a new car company from the ground up. Pay assemblers $20/hr wage + $7/hr in benefits rather than the current uaw $60/hr in wages and benefits.
$50,000,000,000 to subsidize 100,000 uaw workers = $500,000 each.
