ParticipantMore pain coming today, Nasdaq is down another 4 to 5%. I see the Dow at 9000 and Nasdaq at 1000.
Lucky you. I lost more than 10% since April. Is it too late to move to bonds now?
Wow, what happened to the Dow and Nasdaq earlier? I am so glad that I sold all my stocks mutual fund last week. I wanted to buy treasuries like many here susggested but my Fidelity 401K doesn’t give that option. Basically I have 50% in bonds and 50% interest income fund right now.

ParticipantI tried two antennas from Radioshack but returned them. I returned another one to Fry’s.
I was going to try a few models from the local radioshack. I might still do that first.
ParticipantFOX, CBS, ABC, PBS, 3 NBC channels, and WB plus a bunch of Mexican channels. No, I don’t have to move the antenna around to pick up different channels but you might have to depending on your location. But I heard Carmel Valley is the worst for picking up on air signals so your location might be better.

I live in Carmel Valley and this antenna picks up all channels. Since I live in an apartment, I have it indoor. It works better outside. I tried three antennas before settling with this one. It is great. Read the reviews in Amazon too.
Thanks! What channels do you get? Do you need to change directions for each channel?
ParticipantI wonder how much is needed to fix the problems mentioned in this house? $60K?

Redemption is such a sweet thing
It would have been much sweeter if I got that house for $360-380k like I wanted :-). I never have the luck :-(. Maybe this buyer will make it a lifetime opportunity, right Brian?
May 14, 2010 at 11:41 AM in reply to: 7835 Prairie Shadow, 92126 — $325,000 to $350,000 short sale fixer #550388jimmyle
