ParticipantMy coworker met the guy and she was impressed. He is White, blond hair, blue eyes, tall and good looking. He handed her a credit check that he pulled out earlier. My coworker got lazy and accepted it as good. She is at court again today but she told me that she has a nagging feeling that he might not show up again.

ParticipantThanks every one for your advice and support, the seller accepted my offer. Now I am doubting myself on whether the offer is $10-$20K too generous. But I really like the place and everything about the house feels right and I plan to stay here a long time so it is OK I guess. I just need to get the loan done and I don’t expect any problem with qualifying.
Is there any government (state, local, federal) grant, tax break that I should be aware of as a first time home buyer?
Thanks,
jimmyle

ParticipantCan you hear the traffic from Mira Mesa Blvd since it is about half a block away? Kitchen and bathrooms are newly upgraded so it is a plus.
This deal in Mira Mesa will make anything else seems overpriced.
