ParticipantUsed a $25 for $50 groupon at Nordstrom Rack. Went super early (7am) and still had to be in line for 15 mins. Was worth it, but was done for the day after that.
Wish I could avoid stores all month too, but did not plan ahead, so will need to do some minor shopping this month. I’m a good little baker, but not all of my peeps like home made goodies. 🙂

ParticipantI don’t have little ones, but I looked this up for my friends with little ones. Very cool. Looks like there was an event for 6 to 9 year olds in Jan too: http://sdsa.org/resources/calendar/2010-events/january-2010/junior-first-lego-league-expo-jrfll
What did your kids work on if you don’t mind sharing? Or, what was the coolest project you saw? I realize they could be one and the same. 😉

ParticipantYou are probably right. In the meantime, I am thinking of checking out the Fidelity Amex Investment Rewards card. I think this was recommended to me when I asked about good rewards cards on this site a while back. Unfortunately, I did not listen to the advice because I knew I could make more on the Chase deal. (So my fault…).
I had another weird experience when I first got Chase. Or, it seemed weird to me anyways. I asked them to remove the cash advance option on my card and they refused. I stated that I would never use (and I would not) and that if anything was used on that it would be fraud. They told me to go pound sand? There was nothing they could do?
