ParticipantYou would be upside down.. if you can afford the payments you will be fine. If you want to sell though that is when you will run into problems.
I don’t know what the refinance would be like also at the end of the 15 years. If you had enough equity by then that the loan terms made sense you would be able to refi, if not, you could be in trouble. I’m sure more can elaborate further.
Read this, a buyer bought knowing property values could decline in his area (area for poss. BIG declines) and he still bought. It’s not the end of the world.

Participantcan someone elaborate on cracked slabs? I too would like to know why it is so bad. Is it because if the slab is cracked that means it could move more?

ParticipantI agree, get some nice, cheap, and regularly outfitted places out there and I think they would sell. The keyword is cheap though.

ParticipantI did some day trading also, while I turned a profit, the peaks and valleys were too drastic for me. I would do research on companies, try and look at the data and say this is def. a good buy then find out numbers were reported incorrectly etc. etc.
I’m back to reading and researching before money is put to the burner again
