ParticipantThe real issue, already touched on, is the admin is not in charge.
Recall several years ago when many Hispanics walked off the job and ditched school on May 1 and called it, “Day without Immigrants”.
Ever since they have felt more empowered to promote their cause. Every Cinco de Mayo there is always some kind of problem like this in schools with a large hispanic population. And most don’t make the news.
High School and Middle School administrators know this and the smart ones will tactfully keep the juveniles from getting out of control without a strong arm approach.
From now on this school will have a problem every May 5 from this poor management.

Participant
Compared to one person paying with WIC (aka food stamps), I would gladly be behind that father and son. People paying with WIC take forever (I think they have to do separate transactions for lots of different things) and there is no way to know that person in front of you is paying with WIC (it would be nice if they turned around and mentioned their transaction will take a while, but they never do).
or, dump a container of change and begin counting. or, get the checkbook out after waiting in line and could have started filling it in, or, using a checkbook anyway! Card, baby, use the card!

Reminded me of a frat story. Guy from one frat started dating the girlfriend of a dude in another. When he found out, he poured the juice from a tuna fish can into the vent of his Porche. Guy ended up selling the car. Never figured out who did it.
