ParticipantI have lived and worked in Carlsbad for 5 years and don’t have first-hand experience about the commute from Temecula to Carlsbad and back again. However, I do know that the I-78 can get a crowded in the morning going east and in the evening going west. Depending on which part of Carlsbad you plan to work, you’re probably looking at a 1-hour + commute time each way:
Google MapHere’s the CalTrans site on local traffic: http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist11/d11tmc/sdmap/showmap.php

ParticipantI think I may remember meeting you at Today’s Pizza a while back, although my memory is fuzzy. Six feet is giving me some, but I’ll take it. The skin is bronze and the handshake can be firm at times. What does executive hair look like?! I don’t know why I am going for the broker’s license, either.

My uneducated guess is that this calm won’t outlast this summer and then the $%^t will hit the fan again like it did last year. Continued poor jobs numbers, rising oil prices, poor housing numbers, etc. It’s like a really slow-motion dead cat bounce.
