    I am doing exactly the same thing you are speaking of with our consultants. The simple fact is that business is down and companies have to trim their expenses. While I am sorry you are having to take it in the shorts at least you have customers and money coming in. Now if you are providing the service at a loss then maybe it’s a bigger problem.

    In general, businesses are not asking for a bailout. They are trying to keep their businesses alive. When the market returns, and you start having more customers you will be able to renegotiate and up your costs. That’s the way markets work.

    From what my mortgage broker has told me…

    Full Doc
    80% LTV or less
    6 months reserve

    The rate is low but the assumptions are conservative…but they should be.

    Yeah!!!! The spigot is open. HAHAHAHA… It definitely is getting me off the fence to seriously make some lowball offers on houses (already have one offer in).

    Any idea when the program really starts up? I haven’t seen these actual rates being offered yet.

    Thanks for the info. The house on Fairbrook is the one we are looking at. We are gonna do a drive-by today to check it out. Realistically we would write an offer of 10% below the asking so I think that would shield us a little bit from falling prices over the next 1-2 years (doesn’t really matter as we plan to stay there much longer than that).
