Hence the giveaways, so Pharma would support health care reform.
Ironic, isn’t it? David Frum made this point. By taking a hard line, the GOP just isolated themselves further, and the outcome is worse for their supporters than if they had engaged in the outcome. Pretty foolish.

ParticipantWell, I think it’s more stable at the moment than at this time last year, but I completely agree we’re not out of the woods yet. This business/bubble cycle isn’t done. Not at bottom yet.

ParticipantAn interesting conversation, nice thread. I honestly have no idea what the right answer was to the financial crisis. I’m grateful the economy seems to have stabilized. Deeply frustrated by the moral hazard aspects of the bailout.
