I work for one of the companies there.
From my experience with talking to numerous friends/colleagues out there who have kids,
none of them want to buy a house in SV area although they are OK with buying a condo if they don’t have any kids.
MM n general has a reputation of not having good schools in comparison with Poway/Scripps/PQ etc.
MM schools may be getting better but to change the public perception it would take many years..

I don’t really see a lot of value in buying a house for $500K in MM keeping in mind the school district
since I have school going kids.

I agree with sdrealtor.
People in this forum have been guessing/calling for 50% off from peak and other doomsday scenario.
I don’t see any of those things coming true..
Life is normal as usual so far and tough for me as I need a house.
