ParticipantI don’t think there is enough job creation going on to sustain $2000 p.m. rentals for a 3BR place in Claremont.
I agree that outmigration and lack of jobs will put a damper on rental increases. But I don’t expect a 50% or more decline in rents. Do you ?

This is a shack on Morena, that is actually part of a cluster of units on a single property. Compare this to condos or townhomes (and crappy ones at that).
Your $1000 monthly rent number is not defendable. Let’s admit it and move on.
