ParticipantYeah, we’ve all read past stories about the great treatment that customer’s have received from Jet Blue.
MANmom: Just because your husband works for JB doesn’t mean that he KNOWS exactly what happened on that plane. Was he there? There are witnesses that have been questioned by now and based on eyewitness account, not rumor and innuendo, the man who claims that he was made to sit in the bathroom will either receive an out of court settlement from Jet Blue to keep him from pushing this further or it will go to trial……..or he will drop the lawsuit.
I used to fly (A LOT) and since deregulation of the airlines, service and courtesy from the airline crews has gone right down the toilet, π
Flight attendants are among the worst offenders of poor treatment and rude behavior towards passengers. I’ve seen it first-hand, too many times to count.Ex-SD

ParticipantYou are too emotionally connected to buying this house. You’re making a huge mistake by buying this house right now and you know it.
Having said that:
1. Send your phone number to HLS, NOW. Talk to HLS. It will cost you nothing to find out what he can tell you and chances are, you will wind up going with him for your mortgage.
2. Your present loan broker is jacking you around. Why in the world would you consider giving her another chance? If she hasn’t provided you with the documents and answers to your questions that she should have by now, you should run the other way as fast as you can. SHE IS NOT GOING TO CLOSE YOUR LOAN WITHIN A WEEK, If she was on track to do so, you would have seen more documentation and she wouldn’t be acting like she is.
3. Frankly, by your posts, you have been rather naive and too trusting with this broker and unfortunately, the woods are full of predators who will jerk you around like this.
TALK TO HLS……..NOW!Good luck

ParticipantAny way you look at this ridiculous bill, it’s a bunch of horse crap. Why in the world should the taxpayer’s of the USA bail out people who bought a home and it didn’t turn out the way they expected? There is no precedent for passing this bill. Other than bleeding-heart idiots like Barney Frank (who couldn’t hit himself in the butt with both hands) and his socialist cohorts who are pushing this legislation, what kind of responsible politician would vote for this foolishness? I don’t personally know one person who is for this bill. At least Bush (whom I have little regard for) has come out against it and says that he will veto the bill. Whether he will follow through with his threat is another matter. I don’t think the bleeding-heart, giveaway artists in Congress can muster enough votes to override a Bush veto…….but who knows? It IS an election year and that can make politicians act dumber than they normally act.
If this passes, many of the people that get rescued will still default because their houses will continue to go down in value for several more years and probably not recover any appreciation for another 12-20 years. And thanks to Barney & Friends, the taxpayer will foot the bill because the Federal Govt is going to guarantee the loans. This is our government at it’s worst and the poster child for irresponsibility.
