ParticipantRe. Encinitas: I agree with both SD Realtor and sdrealtor. I think that unemployment is going to get a lot higher in CA and that the foreclosures will continue to grow but Encinitas is likely to be an area that will not suffer as badly as others. I’m guessing 30%-40% drops from peak prices in the Encinitas area while many other areas will see 50%+ drops. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where this goes over the next 4-5 years.

ParticipantKelly, that is very revealing. And I wonder how much more went on that will never be revealed or prosecuted? Super Jenae (sic?) and Stan (the real estate agent in the La Mesa area) should both be thoroughly investigated by the FBI (or State and local authorities).

ParticipantI meant the prior sales information on the left side of the page link that I posted did not confirm that the house had been sold since 1993. So, my point was, if that was accurate, then the description that he listed about being bought out of foreclosure is not correct.
