Nice title for the plan, kinda ironic. Isn’t the most obvious way to make a home more affordable is to lower the price, not artificially prop it up?I think the plan should be:
If you can’t afford your house and need to foreclose, the government will subsidize the security deposit for your rental. This way the home is marked down to market price when it is resold and no one is out on the street. ๐EJ

ParticipantThere are income requirements … not sure exactly but I think phase out (for single filer) is from 75k to 95k and above 95k you are ineligible.
