If we do not tap into the justifiable anger sweeping across the nation, if we do not militantly push back against corporate fraud and imperial wars that we cannot win or afford,….
[/quote]So we are suppose to wage a war to stop the war?
Sorry, had to ask. ‘Militantly’ is a rather loaded word.

ParticipantEveryone is different, but I wouldnt buy anything that was close to Sorrento Valley Blvd/Calle Cristobal. I have been in two differnt houses that border the road, and both have alot of road noise in the back yard. Most of the houses that are for sale in 92121 but-up-against that road. Where else can you drive 50mph legally 20 feet from houses, especially 700k houses?
Most of the people who live in the area work in the Sorrento Valley area, or very near by (carmel valley/La Jolla/pill hill.

ParticipantGood Point SD_R,
But remember that many football teams are hurting right now as blackout rules mean that alot of games will not be broadcast in home markets as tickets are not selling out.
They should make a ‘sportsfan stimulus II’, where by you could add it to the cost of any season tickets, so that games can be broadcast in home markets. Just think of all the $10 beers and $7 hotdogs that will not be sold if they don’t. Or the $40 parking fees. Besides, most cities with teams have reviune shareing agreements with the cities, who will take in less $$ if fewer tickets are sold. So we will also bail out the large public subsidies of very profitable enterprises, bailing out our bailouts.
I mean what good are new TV’s and nice couches and diabetes inducing food consumption without chearing on which ever team I choose? I will feel some slight emotional pain by not being able to watch the chragers each week, and obviously it is the governements duty to make sure I feel none of it, getting what I want, when I want, how I want, and only paying what I want.

ParticipantTo the OP,
You say you were already in a underwater loan and got out. Did you short sell, or REO, or pay the difference? How did you get out from under that house?
I ask because you may have a limit imposed on you on when you can get a new home loan. And your credit may be messed up enough it wont matter anyways.
