Just saw this thread. I don’t understand why OP even started this thread (except for possible trolling purposes). Why is he gravitating back to Del $ur when the monthly HOA/MR there is “eye-watering.” And the current new development there is selling homes which have “particle board cabinets with metal drawers … for $1.5M” (quoted from his own words in the OP from the “Best Family Areas” thread).
Am I missing something here? there is no mention of HOA or “particle boards cabinets” anywhere by OP on this thread.
Unless you know OP personally and refer to some other conversation?
See “Best Family Areas for Low-$1Millions Budget”. As the judge in “My Cousin Vinny” said “..[T]hat would certainly explain the hostility.”
Thanks for the reference njtosd. Just looked and I see 10 pages of activity there! I know it is hard for some folks to just keep the thread thoughts within that thread, but calling OP names on a separate unrelated thread, how mature is that?
Do we really have to track what was said yesterday? or where folks say they live? Which you have no way of verifying anyway?
And nobody here is running for office, are they? Why bring up such stuff? These two were unrelated topics.dumbrenterParticipant
Just saw this thread. Biggest miss in the list in the link is the salesman job. That is one job that will never ever go away.
No matter what technology, gizmo stuff is used, robots will never be able to sell used cars.dumbrenterParticipantIf I recall right, there WAS a forum discussion about the guy with bomb factory in Escondido. What is happening here is name-calling for the OP who simply asked a question: should I buy near a moslem center? You could answer yes, you could answer no, you could counter-ask (as you rightly do) if that is a fear worth having. But why call OP a troll or “fcked up” just for asking this question?
You ask a valid question: How many San Diego county Mosque going bomb makers got busted in that time period for comparison?
I say none. But look at the incidents of jehadi sympathizers from NJ to texas to SB shooting up places and they all pretty much stored the ammo at home.
Now, expand your view to what happens in most moslem mosks after their friday sermons world over. It is not yet happening in this country (except maybe be Dearborn MI) but given the trend, given the demographics, it is bound to happen here sooner than later.
So, while the answer is 0 now, it is going to be non-zero soon. Do I want to be right next door to find out? Do you?
You mean like the guy in 2011 with the bomb factory house in Escobdido? What was his name? Jakuvic or something.
Or the guy in Mira Mesa in 2013 with the arsenal of homemade guns and pipe bombs? What was his name? Meyer?

Given the number of OTs, this one is quite relevant to the topic of housing market.
No more so than buying next to a church or synagogue, honestly. Even if VERY HYPOTHETICALLY, a member of the mosque is a radical, why would they destroy the house next door?
This being said, it might be relevant in a way that the OP hasn’t thought of. Some local bigots might feel moved to attack the mosque or harass the worshipers. (Especially if there’s another war, or unrelated terrorist incident somewhere in the US.)
I’d buy next to a mosque without a moment’s hesitation. If it keeps people like the OP out of the market, guess I can get the property more cheaply :)
Then who is stopping you from starting one? Go ahead.
They might not want to destroy the house next door, but what if something goes wrong when they are wiring up the explosives in their mosks? I mean, let’s face it. These guys are have not gone to a proper explosives course or something, right?

dumbrenterParticipant

I’d not buy next to a social services center either.
What about a McDonald’s?
Which one? The one with the children’s play area or the one without?
I noticed the ones without will attract a certain kind of people, but at the worst case, I might end up with a few things broken/stolen, excreta in certain places, but I don’t have to worry about somebody blowing things up or spraying lead randomly in the neighborhood just because a bunch of non-believers live there. In a way, I understand the motives for drug violence, gang violence, arson & theft, even violence against people who don’t look like you and your kind. We are primates after all… at a very base level, I get it.
And all those were discussed in terms of real estate in some blatantly racist ways on this very forum couched in a certain language that the posters could use. Free school lunches, scores, neighborhoods etc. which were directed against african-americans.But talk about the fear of getting shot at while going about your business just because you believe or not believe a fvking prophet or some violence thousands of miles away, and out come the jehadi sympathizers trying to stifle discussion with personal attacks.
Yes, I’ll buy right next to McDonald’s instead of a moslem center anyday.

BTW, which elementary school in Del Sur are you referring to?
I’d not buy next to a social services center either.
thank god someone gets it – it’s so scary out there, these days. willow grove elementary.
many social services buildings are un-marked for a reason, btw.
Isn’t that a relatively new school? < 5 years old? Wow, I did not even know they had that center next door.

And now you are worried about and Islamic center. And previously you complained about some old baby boomer looking at your kid funny because he/she is mixed. This has got to be the biggest troll or you are really a fvcked up person that needs to take a serious look in the mirror at all the things you complain about other people. We are done here. Talk to your agent to help you, although I think for the it’s a waste of time because you won’t be buying anytime soon.
Just rent. Figure things out yourself in the meantime.
Huh? So OP if in case is in Carmel valley cannot talk about del sur? And you said you were going on ignore..but what, couldn’t resist?
I think it is you who is fvcked up in life and in your head. Both the posts were presenting a view point and now you waded in making it personal calling people fvcked up and all.
Why? Can’t keep it civil? Is this what your jehad1 handler taught you? what’s the next step? cry victim?
I don’t know what you and a couple of others had to suck on to get away with this kind of crap on this board, making personal judgement on posters and all, but you need to realize many come here to read views that might be offensive but choose not to comment. IF you don’t like something, just move on… why take the trouble call OP names? And if you do, some might consider returning the favor with extreme prejudice + interest. Learn to stop calling people names, you dumb piece of sh1t.dumbrenterParticipant
Your previous troll was well-crafted, but this one is quite ameteurish.
My view is that people tend to dramatically overestimated the investment implications of geopolitical events… but I guess that’s a different topic.
Sounds right; just over a week ago 224 died in a plane crash most likely caused by terrorism. No significant reaction.
Flight 17 shot down over Ukraine. No significant reaction.
This feels different
That is correct. Because those shot down were not of the right ‘nationality’.
At the end of the day, the stock market is a sum of hopes & fears of those investing in it and they tend to apply the right discounts to those killed based on where they are from….. they value western lives more than others.dumbrenterParticipant
Scaredy, I like you and I am a fan of your posts in general — but I have to say, I also find this thread to be in pretty poor taste. I guess it’s a perspective thing. Just my two cents.
I have to say I did not see this before my last post.
Your likes/dislikes aside, I am sure if somebody posted about isreilis in a similar manner, nobody would see it as in “poor taste” or a “perspective thing”.dumbrenterParticipantWow… Some are really more equal than others!!
Let me see if saying the same thing slightly different will invite the attention of those moderating this here. If you don’t hear from this account ever again, you know why!
Jews are super misogynists. They trwat their women like crap, especially the black dress wearing ones. Its definitely not subtle or difficult to perceive. You see that in carmel valley all the time. Add to that isrelis have a massive inferiority complex most probably from their constant whining and whopping they got thru out time. Do you think there will be an “event” in their borders soon? Stock play there?
Come one, I’m jut saying what everyone here is thinking, especially the non jeweish ones.IF only jews did not kill Jesus…. well you get the train of thought from scaredy’s post…..and everything could be cool.
No more refugees will be allowed into europe. They’ll be shot at the border. Short turkey? This must have some economic effect.
Arabs are super misogynists. They trwat their women like crap. Its definitely not subtle or difficult to perceive. Stock play there?
If saddam hussein could’ve just not invaded Kuwait or been less of a dock about inspections, assad could be in syria, the Iraqis could be under the thumb of saddam, and everything could be cool. Stupid humans
