Oh, it’s nice out in eastern SD County. Being close to wine country is lovely. It’s bucolic and fun to explore.
What kind of bird is your “pest/pet”? Could you release it, or is it dependent upon human kindness at this point?

Just ignore the unwashed masses who try to figure out what you’re doing on your phone while in public spaces…or tell them you’re on a porn site. In most cases, that’s a conversation stopper.
I’m very surprised that you were able to raise a wild bird. I thought that was supposed to be impossible. The last wild thing I rescued was a baby bat that got into our house. Before my husband left for work that day he said, “please try to get it out of here and, whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE IT A NAME.”
