TG,
Thanks for the insightful feedback. Forgive my ignorance, but what is a “fill in tract”?
I thought the area around the Sweetbrier Cir house was OK – just a normal looking neighborhood. Nothing remarkable. I was shocked when my realtor said it was in escrow (and sold) for $585K last spring.
The backyard was VERY nice…but not worth paying almost $200K over what the 2100 sf house is probably worth. Even with the decorative touches of “two artistic men.” :->
Guess I’ll just stick with the “P-Estimate” (Piggington Estimate!) when it comes to local real estate…
Thanks again, TG!!

dharmagirlParticipantOMG Aecetia! I love it! Thanks for the link. I especially love the “Cadillac Poultry Ark” and the other model where the geeky guy looks like he’s being held hostage by the chickens. Am not crazy about the model with the Colonel’s face on the side of it. Pamela Anderson Lee would not be happy about that at all (being the PETA protester that she is!)

dharmagirlParticipantI feel so out of sorts…I havent had time to respond to any of this for DAYS…we’re currently ripping out ceramic tile in the new casa (among other things). I think my blisters have blisters…
TemeculaGuy, I am – as the English say – quite chuffed that you have decided to classify me as a ‘nutball’. You and my husband should get together for a beer (or some charred animal flesh)- he feels the same way π He considers himself to be “linear and rational” (i.e. boring) and is regularly bemused by my free flowing ideas and spontaneity. He also tells me I’m one of the most compassionate people he’s ever met so I guess that’s OK.
As for the chickens…I’ve got to investimagate a bit more…I need to know what type of maintenance is involved. How messy can 2-3 hens possibly be?
Aecetia, you sound like a kindred spirit. I LOVE animals and live with five of them at the moment. Linear Rational Husband frequently refers to me as “Ellie Mae” (as in Clampett).
Gawd, it’s 830 and I need a glass of wine. Cheers!
