ParticipantSell one, move into the other until that home becomes your official residence, then try to sell that one. Move to Austin and get your ass kicked daily by “rednecks” that drive trucks”, brilliant!

ParticipantYou can say what you want, I really don’t care. If you know the crime statistics in Compton and are stating facts about the crime rate there then great But if you are just bringing it up because of its reputation than think again the next time you post. If somebody called me out and I made a mistake in posting at least I would admit it, learn from it and move on.

Participant
it’s racist/snob to say that some particular locale is unsafe?
also, go back to some of my earlier posts.
Yes, when you refer to Compton which is mainly Latino and African American it is very racists.

Participant
don’t know about SD area RE prices but I live 5 miles from PA. In PA proper, prices run about $800-1,000 sqft.
Hope that helpsBTW, avoid East Palo Alto. It’s the Compton of the Peninsula.
Good one on April Fools Day bobby or I would have thought not only are you a snob but a racist to….

ParticipantSan Diego’s RE is in a tailspin right now. Home prices are dropping faster than membership in the NRA.

Participant
Happ in San Diego county the buyers pool for people looking at homes under 400k is plenty large. There are plenty of them out there.
Quite a statement SD. Really, people would like to buy a home from a value of $1 to $400K? Yes, most everybody would like to buy a home, to bad the $400K and under -Home- is dead in San Diego.

Participant
Aztecs were absolutely horrible tonight in their loss. An embarrassment.
Yea, they got their azzes kicked. It didn’t help playing the new Cinderella of the tourney so now you can watch all the replays over and over and over on ESPN.

ParticipantThe last 6 months or so I was wondering when I should sell and get out of the market. A couple of days ago I thought why would there be a correction at all? Big companies are doing well, Wall Street and the Banks are doing well, wealthier people with money for stocks are doing well. The middle class is struggling but they don’t have much or any money in the market, there is no giant housing and lending bubble to explode. Europe, seems nobody cares. I can’t see anything in the near future for a correction other than a correction just for a correction.

ParticipantTry this place north of Santa Barbara:
http://www.elcapitancanyon.com/?gclid=CLu4xeao2rUCFQLhQgodVgUA2wThis is more upscale than camping but really is beautiful. And there is a beach campsite right next to it but again that one might be full it is through the parks system.

The only downside is that you won’t be able to cross the tracks and make a midnight run to VG’s for some fresh donuts…..those cinamon twists-perfection in a donut……….

ParticipantYes, everybody lives by the sea in San Diego, a sea of rooftops. Too bad most of you never got to enjoy San Diego the way I did and even if you didn’t it is still a great place. Who cares? Are you offended if people you don’t know move to another area or stay? A real tired subject.

Participant
O.K. , It looks like I was wrong about the cops knowing this guy was in the house right near their command post and not very far at all from where he left his truck. It’s pretty damn unbelievable though.
Evidently, the cops just let this couple walk right into his hideout to be tied up and robbed of their car? All the overtime and other extra crisis shit( death and injury to the last two deputies) that comes from them not finding him “in plain site” is staggering.
Add the shooting of the people who had nothing to do with this and the cops get a very low grade. FBI involved too? Wow!
I very much agree. This could not have been handled worse it was an absolute calamity with all the errors by law enforcement. Not many press conferences introducing everybody and saying what a great job so and so did? Now they are trying to get out of paying the reward money, that should go over real well.

Participant
Because they don’t want people who live in Ramona and work in SD using the coast road as a commuter route alternative to the 5?
I think the last person to use that route from Ramona was Kit Carson.
