Call it a ATM, remodel, updgrade, etc. they put a ton of money into the house.

Then you rejoice when our government gets ziltch. With ziltch our government can sure protect our interests, huh?
There is one thing everone can agree on (?) is that it is the actions of our government (Fed) that have driven down interest rates.

I have heard for years that people would sell when home prices go back up, yet there is no inventory?
desmondParticipantThe guy at the Irvine Housing Blog deals with investment property there:
desmondParticipantWhat I found out is that Peter Gibbons, Samir Naj., & Micheal Bolton have an elaborate scheme to syphon money from Initech into on of their accounts, by mistake it is ending up in yours. Just enjoy the windfall, I recommend lunch down at Chotchkie’s.
desmondParticipant
That’s the one. We should hit darkness around San Jose and sunrise around Mt Shasta which should be the beginning of the best part of the trip.
How was the trip? I just got back from my “spring break” with my daughter, she just got her SCUBA certification so she “dragged” me (and my wallet) down to the Grand Cayman Island for some diving. I had not dove for 20 years, made a ton of mistakes, got beat up physically, but had a great time.
desmondParticipantMake sure to take where you are staying in all your plans. If you can take the trolley down to the wharf to get on the Alcatraz Tour. The trolley is harder to get back on, so you can walk, take a cab or the bus.. If these guys are a picky group from HK why try to match the food they are experts on? San Francisco has so many classic old restaurants that are great.

desmondParticipantI heard Carmelo is coming to the OC.
desmondParticipantNot to pile on, my son was recently transferred to Houston. I drove out with him and made a movie of the trip, it’s easy and you can post it on youtube, to be 23 again-check out his new roomates:
desmondParticipantWhen I travel with my kids we make it a habit to never eat at the same place you could eat at when your at home. I use yelp. We like to try the out of the way places, and we try the places from the food shows, Man v Food, Triple D’s, etc. then your kids can watch the reruns and say they ate there. google man vs food seattle and it will list all the places he has visited: http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&oe=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=man+vs+food+seattle&fb=1&gl=us&hq=man+vs+food&hnear=0x5490102c93e83355:0x102565466944d59a,Seattle,+WA&ei=s-FfT4mFDYK0iQKK7cHWBA&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=image&ved=0CAgQtgM
desmondParticipantIf you are with your kids do what they would like to do, you will be the hero.
desmondParticipantAll this discussion has just ruined this thread.
desmondParticipantIn 2005 I had no idea why prices were skyrockiting, I sold only on the reason that I thought how many people were left that could actually afford my house? I did not know that credit had anything to do with it. Now that I look back it was the “easy qualifying” that did home prices in. Valencia is still a great place to raise your kids and live in, it is the home values that have crumbled.
