AK: I had four FTOs on 105 jumps, including one on my fourth jump at Airborne School. That was wild. I mentally froze up when the chute streamered and then was frantically trying to remember if it was unzip, pack and push or push, unzip and pack or???
I did figure it out, but sprained my ankle on a really hot landing. Had to do my final jump on a sprained ankle out of a jet (C-141) and at night. Good times.
My wife is impressed (shocked) with the four FTOs. π She has 50 jumps with no FTOs, though a few tree landings. I didn’t expect Army people on a San Diego board.
I myself am a leg and get ridiculed all the time about it from her.

David JParticipantI realize this has nothing to do with you, but if I understand correctly, MBS prices skyrocketed today which I thought should mean lower interest rates and yet the lenders raised rates throughout the day? Looking at MBS prices I would think rates should be at 4% right now. There is a very good chance I don’t understand what is going on though.

David JParticipant
I have had USAA for my entire life and would never drop them. Insurance for the Armed Forces and their families.
I have everything with them – Life, Renters (Im one of the ones on the sidelines at the moment), two cars and investments.
Not only is their customer service exceptional, their rates are super low. Their online self service is excellent as well (Im in IT and love that I never need to call them to make a change).
My bro left them a while back – not sure why.
I use USAA for almost everything as well and have had nothing but good experiences.
