ParticipantI have the Amex Blue Cash card as well. I compared it to the cash back from the Costco Amex but Blue Cash is better (at least for my spending patterns). You do have to take into account that the 5% (groceries, gas–but not Costco gas, drugstores) and 1.25% (everything else) rebates don’t start until you’ve already spent $6000. We don’t travel enough to make the futzing with rewards points, hotels stays etc. worth it. Just show me the cash back, please! ๐

ParticipantI love my older home (category 1) near Carmel Creek School. Great neighbors, great family vibe, great school–although if I didn’t have kids I might not like it as much.

ParticipantWe love our 1360-sq-ft 3-2 house for our family of 4. Plenty of space. And I do remember that when I was considering buying it some folks–on this board even ;)–were telling me it was way too small for us. I am so glad that we didn’t listen, and now are no longer beholden to a bank for a huge mortgage for a whole bunch of space that we didn’t really need!!! Nothing like living 10 mins from work.

ParticipantOne more vote for 94.9! Hopefully it will survive–I keep thinking it will get swallowed up by the marketing machine that is typical FM radio these days.
