ParticipantWell, it would certainly lessen the American illusion that everyone should own a home. Of course NOT everyone should, and my guess is ending this deduction would hurt the housing market even more.
As if I needed another reason to keep renting.

Xenophobe? If that’s your only complaint and the basis of a decision to vote against him I suggest you weigh the consequences of your alternative.
Unless you like higher taxes, more rights and services for illegal immigrants than citizens, and supporting fat cat politicans who work 15 hours a week on your dime…
