CoronitaParticipantTrump. Make american underwear great again. i like it.
CoronitaParticipant
That two lines of tmobile was a really good deal. Finally succumbed and got data for my smartphone. Was on prepaid before so now I get two unlimited everything lines and my brother gets $60/mo from me for adding the two free lines.
Now if anyone knows where to get an iPhone 7 on BF. Saw lots of deals but none for tMobile.
You probably need to get one at the apple store unlocked… The only deal I know of is that if you sign up with tmobile with their unlimited data plan, they will pay you pay 50% off after you buy a Google Pixel phone directly from Google.
I was already grandfathered into their unlimited data, so I didn’t get the discount.
Looks like the two line deal is extended until this evening…

CoronitaParticipantI also picked up a comforter set that was $300 marked down to $71 as a spare set for my guest room, at macy’s pre sale. lol
CoronitaParticipantI don’t think I’ve bought any new clothes for the past 2 years, except shoes.
In fact, ever since I lost weight, I’ve been wearing all my clothes again from college freshman days that I couldn’t fit into after the first semester when I gained my freshman 20lbs.
And my old clothes were made in usa, lol…And they seemed to hold up better than some of my newer clothes.
That, and I get all my t-shirts that I can wear at work from tradeshows, lol…
Fortunately, I hate jeans so I don’t need to worry about those.
CoronitaParticipant
WRONG.
this is a brand called THE REAL MCCOYS.
reputable bloggers and international inspection teams have visited THE REAL mCcoys shop and manufacturing spots onsite in japan.
your lies are NASTY, pathetic and desperate.
these sweatshirts are from japan. period, as are the horsehide jackets, the varsity letter jackets, the boots.
beautiful authentic vintage americana beautifully reproduced by strange modern japanese people.
MAGA via japan!!
highsnobiety visits real mccoys shop in london:
also google loopwheeled sweatshirts to get facts straight before making slanderous allegations about chinese made labels.
seriously though, i think america should make its own damn clothing. expensive wellmade stuff, peoples closets should not be stuffed with crap. instead just a few nice usa things. Remember when clothing used to be costly and fine and had ILGWU tags?
People buy and discards mountains of clothing. The environmental cost of producing all that wasted cotton is staggering.
and we can do that thru tariffs.
Oh come on, I’m just pulling your chain. Shhh… Take a chill pill.
Yes, I wish we could find more american made clothes.
CoronitaParticipant

i will pay 25 percent more for usa made reproduction of vintage american clothing than japanese made reproductions of american clothing.
however, i want a lexus.
Scaredy, your shopping habits are so liberal elitist.
interesting fact…japan bought our usa vintage looming machines many years ago when much faster looms were invented.. only japan can make true vintage loopwheeled material for sweatshirts. the machines are slow but produce authentic feel. THE FABRIC IS EXPENSIVE. my grey loopwheeled sweatshirt was $225.00. but what can i do? wear chinese crap???
we sold those beautiful slow old machines and now buy material made by lightning fast new looms in china. all garbage, a mountain of garbage!!!
MAGA. i say we go repatriate our old loopwheel looms from japan, before they get nukes. they have a dangerous monopoly on old loopwheel technology.
Similar problem with denim.
sad.
The only problem scardey, is even your “Japanese” product is now Made in China. You’re just paying for the Japanese price markup.
Look at the label. I kid you not.
The Japanese have learned from the American companies in this regard too.
The difference between what comes out of China as “good” and what comes out as “crap”, is the quality specification the company gave to the factory(ies) in china.
If your only spec is “make it cheap”, you’ll definitely get exactly what you speced…all the way down to the leaded paint.
WRONG! handmade in the wakayuma prefecture, japan.
i would never buy a sweatshirt not made in japan that was an exact reproduction of a vintage american sweatshirt down to the exact rayon vintage label
Lol.
Maybe the Made in Japan label, was actually a reproduction made in china. It reminds me of when I went to holland and watched them make wooden shoes with a machine made by yamaha.

CoronitaParticipant

Can any Pigg here comment authoritatively on Subaru’s CVT (reliability, being “overtaxed” on hilly mountain roads daily, etc).
The CVT is an abomination. Really awful to drive even for a CVT (from personal experience). I can’t comment on their reliability, but I believe they’re sealed, which means big bucks for repairs.
Lol… I remember when Audi first introduced these on the Front Trac car, and I was like WTF when I got one as a rental… Audi since then ditched CVT awhile ago.
Then nissan decided to put them into a lot of their vehicles…Ask former nissan CVT owner how they felt about it and how much it costs. Then again, nissan upped the warranty on theirs to 10 years/120k miles
Hint it’s somewhere between a normal automatic and a dual clutch transmission
CoronitaParticipantLol…… I think a lot of you guys will soon be disappointed…..
Trump: the relations between India and the United States would be “the best ever.”The president-elect — who has called India a “great country” — is involved in at least 16 partnerships or corporations here. Those business interests — and the financial relationship with a leading member of the governing party — will be a significant backdrop to Trump administration policy toward the world’s most populous democracy — and toward its warily hostile neighbor, Pakistan.
At an October campaign event with the Indian American community in New Jersey, Trump boasted of his “massive” and “very beautiful” development projects in the country and vowed that the relations between India and the United States would be “the best ever.”
It’s really a matter of making money…. I don’t see he’s going to do much on H1-Bs.
Not when your own empire is heavily invested in those countries where the bulk of the H1-Bs come from.God, this is turning out to be a travesty, almost…. Why did I sell my stock market? This is going to be a like a casino on steroids.
CoronitaParticipant
Judging from the comments here, and the waiting lists we have for all of our rentals–especially the sfh’s–I’m guessing the Trulia charts are probably off.
Good news for all of us who already own properties, not so good for younger people looking to buy now and in the future, because once the land is gone–it’s gone.
Nah, they’ll just need to figure out newer ways to mint .dot.com millionaires.
CoronitaParticipantdow futures showing another +80.
CoronitaParticipant

You know, even though I am out of the market mostly, I’m happy things aren’t crashing. I don’t want to be right on this one. Things just eerily looked similar to what it felt like pre-dot.com implosion just right after Bush2 took over.
Maybe Trump won’t be as bad for biz after all. Especially if there is a tax holiday for biz.
Anyway, I’m out mostly for the rest of the year, not necessarily because I want to be, it’s just at this point, I’d rather just wait for more clarity beginning of next year than anything else.
Well, to be fair, Bush 2 saw .com crash followed quickly by 9/11. So, that kinda shook things up quite a bit.
Also, I’m not feeling the euphoria that I felt in the late 90s. I remember making big gains in days to weeks on anything with a .com in the name or anything having to do with B2B. I don’t see us repeating the kind of crash we saw with the .com because we’re not as crazily valuated like we were with the .com. But, only time will tell. If we do see a 9/11 style attack though, all bets are off.
I’m super excited to see a tax holiday, lower taxes, reduce regulation (2 have to come off the book for every new one), energy regulation, removal of Obamacare, etc. If he does all of that, I predict an awesome 4 years economically.
AN, I think for you the stars are going to align just perfectly for you in 2016 and 2017. Having thought over all that has happened, I think you are making the right decisions and your current future looks really bright. I’m really hope this is the your fortunes break out for you. I really want people I know to just kill it out there. So definitely, milk it for all it’s worth. You earned it! Here’s a to prosperous 2017.Go get it. It’s yours.
Thanks flu. I hope so too. Only time will tell. I think if the star align for me, it’ll align for you too.
You know what I like about a lot of you gen Yers? You guys haven’t gotten all jaded and bitter like a lot of old farts… I’m getting there, on my way to old fartism 🙂
CoronitaParticipant
^^^
That’s incorrect. My family has owned multiple used Subies, bought below 100,000 miles. All have gone into the high 100,000 to 200,000 mile range before resale.
The pre-2014 cars had the 5-speed auto gearbox with the H6, not the CVT.
Why is there any obligation to buy a car made of US parts, BTW?
Because that’s what some of the people who complain about american manufacturing job losses should be doing, if they really really cared as much as they say they do. You don’t care, so it doesn’t apply to you.
if you don’t get something with CVT, you should be ok.
CoronitaParticipant

Okay, I’ll look into this. Any comments about Suburu’s CVT?
No idea — the CVT/H6 combo has only been around for two years, so its reliability is unknown to basically anyone.
CVT when it breaks is incredibly expensive to repair. Plus used scubbies are usually a bad idea because people beat the shit out of them.
But..Lol. You are not listening. Subaru is also has close to 0% u.s. parts content and made with no u.s. labor.
Used Ford edges and Ford escapes depreciate like crazy and cost about the same of not less than used scubbies. What is wrong with Ford BG?
