Facepalm
CoronitaParticipantAt Blacks Beach, there are far more people there that need to keep their clothes on than acceptable people that could get away with keeping their clothes off. In fact, the number of people in the latter category is close to 0%.
So, Scardey,.it’s quite possible you could easily raise that bar.
CoronitaParticipant
Lol. Haven’t been to that beach, but, yes, age can be a sad thing, if you don’t take care of yourself–and especially if you weren’t good looking to begin with.
We know quite a few people who are complaining about aging–even some in their 40’s. Of course, there is always plastic surgery for those who need it, but it generally doesn’t seem to come out too well.
That’s one of the advantages being Asian. We generally look 10-15 younger until we are 65. Then we rapidly fall off the cliff.
Theres this made in Japan face peeler cream that like $300 on Amazon. It actually works pretty well. Not from experience , but this Asian lady swears by it and she is inher 50ies and her skin looks great and could pass for looking like she is in her 30ies if you don’t notice the her hands.
Don’t stay too much in the sun without sunblock or a hat. Folks in the 20-30ies that, their skin looks like a trainwreck by the time they are in their 40ies or 50ies.
Also lots of collagen and biotin….good strong hair and nails…and for thinning hair. Why spend on hair transplant and other western medicine that.doesnt really work.
CoronitaParticipantBlack’s Beach isn’t that crowded..
You should try to go there Scardey, lol.
CoronitaParticipant
Skin cancer, raw sewage, lots of assholes, crowds, no parking. Ca beaches are not peaceful. Maybe somewhere, but not so cal.
flyer has access to his own private beach. He can’t relate.
Military beach isn’t that crowded too.
I wouldn’t mind living on a farm. Have my own chickens.
I don’t go to the beach that often.
CoronitaParticipantLol, I laughed at this redit comment:

by u/Sleepy-Dog679 from discussion Boise, you ok?
in REBubble
Boise is just a place liberals go to cosplay being conservative for a few years. They get excited to dust off their Santa Cruz mountain bikes and ride a few trails. They buy big trucks and bigger homes, something they couldn’t do in their”liberal” cities. They escaped and they feel smarter than all their friends still trapped under the coastal marine layer. Then one day they realize something just doesn’t quite fit. Maybe it’s the time their favorite indie band skipped Boise, but played in Seattle. Or maybe the fish tacos aren’t as crispy. Or maybe they got skipped for promotion because they WFH in a completely different state and are now worried about being laid off. The desire to move back becomes stronger…
Substitute St George for Boise, and the person as…oh never mind….

(facepalm)
CoronitaParticipantDude. You had a lot of not good buys.
CoronitaParticipantum…ok…if you say so…
Personally, I think you’re making this way more complicated than it is. And your stock picking track record isn’t that great. Didn’t you say you went long on Intel awhile ago for the dividend when Intel was in the low 50ies?
CoronitaParticipantWell, if it makes any difference, our long term tenant from the Bay Area just gave us notice that he will be moving out in August/Sept. Says he plans on moving to a place where he can afford a decent house and work remotely.
I might suggest San Diego and/or Utah.

CoronitaParticipant

Time for me to move some money back in into the markets. I’ve been itching off the sideline a bit. Fire sale..
Wow braver than I LOL, hope it works but then again if say >10 years is your investment time frame then most likely the markets in general will be higher.
Well, I was slightly over 50% out, and the remaining stuff in was mostly short term treasury, short term bonds, consumer staples, some banking, and 2 tech stocks.
I figure it’s better than many people who were more heavily invested. So…. Roll the dice, and slowly move stuff back in… Drip style investing….
I don’t need the money in short term.
