What’s it gonna take for today’s kids to revolt? My kid seems to think that voting is enough. My high school class was the last to be subject to the birthday draft during Viet Nam. I am female…so it didn’t affect me. Nevertheless, I was out there. I got arrested (and I was underage) at an anti-Spiro Agnew rally (corrupt a-hole) way back then. Charges dropped but my dad, a colonel in the Army Reserve, punished me nonetheless. I am trying to be unbiased here, but I would really like to know your thoughts on what will ignite our youth. At 51, I am too tired and jaded to do anything else but vote.

You’re the first one in this thread, other than me, to support Edwards. I’m a lib and a feminist, to some extent, but I feel Obama and Clinton are unelectable. The hatred of Hillary out there — and a lot of it is from conservative women — is very worrisome. If it comes down to Hillary or Obama over Rudy…well, I can live with Rudy. But what if Huckabee is the nominee? That frightens me. Do you think he has a chance?
