I don’t like being negative but I really can not stand this thread or its author. So I will try to take this from the realm of the frivalous to the serious. I am “newer” to the valley and have lived numerous years in Phoenix. I am terrified of mice! Not because it is a mouse but because of the Hantavirus!
Do you guys not have deaths from this? Every year Arizona would report 5 to 10 deaths from this and these poor people died painful, slow deaths. Most of them had no idea there was mice around.
And does the land-lord have any liablity in this if it has been identified by the renter and there is a sickness or death?

Well I am now a TG groupie (hope that doesn’t scare you TG). I am glad that TG so elloquently stated the feelings of many of the young professionals in this town.
There has never been anything to gain by the name calling and I wish some people would tone down the bashing. I think there are many intelligent people that have oustanding points but when you name call or curse it is a BIG turn-off in the threads.
Lastly, someone jumped on Beach for callings us Pigs… He meant that in a good way!

The new thing in pot growing is “Hidden in plain view”. You will find, probably on youtube, plenty of examples where they took a very nice house and turned it into a greenhouse. Thought being “why would anyone look in a nice nieghborhood?”. I am sure you can find the same for meth. But in all of these case there was no one living at these sites. The people maintaining these places you come and go at night to keep exposure to a minimium.
Then again, if you tore out the old carpet the street value of it could be in the millions with the right connections!

Rich,
I am glad you responded to the thread it lets me know that you are out there lurking and reading these things.
A friend at work turned me on to this site. I believe he gave you the motto. I can not tell you how much more I have learned from this site and the other linked blogs in addition to some of the thought positive (and sometimes negative) feedback listed on the site.
This is just a personal Thank You from me.
This site is a good substitute for ECON 101 that I slept through at ASU.
