ParticipantDefinetly a good post Chris…
And as much as I was on Breeze for his “Battle Cry Obama”…
Would it have really been any different with McCain as Prez Elect?
I think the market is as it is…
No one would have changed that.

ParticipantMay I remind you, Breeze, that you are on record now. I dont know why you insist that free market pricipals are returning. Nothing I have heard from EITHER canidate support this.
I will not be relieved when this election is over. I will not be relieved in the first 100 days.
I may be relieved in about mid 2010.
So until then the party is pre-mature and really…I don’t know how to say this politely so I will just say it.
Your kind of acting like an ass.
I am voting against you today but only by a slim margin. My money is that OB will win and I sincerely hope that he is all that your “koolaide” drinking team says he is. If he lives up to it I will give him my vote for another four.
But here is my prediction.
Whoever wins this one won’t get another one.
OB or McCain will not be able to solve the economy. Only a truely free market will do that; That is after all why Rich started this site (in a manner). Niether canidate believe in free markets and my personal Guru on this, SDDuuuude, has open my eyes. Goverment should do this… Goverment will do that is all that I hear from both. Goverment… Should not do s#$t!
So for you to justify markets conditions based on this or that correlation just goes to prove that you, like a lot of others on both sides of the fence, stopped thinking critically long ago.
Take care,
Oink,

what fat_lazy_union_worker does not realize is his salary, health insurance, pension, retiree health is being paid by the taxpayers. taxpayers are being squeezed. rising home and stock values cushioned the blow for the past 20+ years. With asset values declining the pain is being felt.
