ParticipantOk, so you already admitted that you don’t ‘desperately need to buy’ you just reeeeeally want to. Why not save the difference you’d be spending in rent vs. buy over the next 1-2 years to earn greater buying power and increase your options? Live very frugally for the next 1-2 years and see what your options are at that point. By then, unless you have multiples, you’ll only have 1 baby. Young children don’t care how big their houses are, if they have their own room, or if you own it or rent it.
