ParticipantMy sister’s family has a miniature poodle that is the best dog. I was never a little dog fan, but he’s changed my tune on that! He was so easy to train for anything and is great with the kids, really well behaved.
Here’s a website I found that is a rescue for poodles;
http://www.poodleclubsocal.com/poodlerescue/list.nhtmlWe adopted both our dogs and now I encourage anyone to do the same as there are many great dogs that are dumped and socal has one of the highest euthanization rates outta any state…so check it out before you decide on anything!
Good luck!

ParticipantJust from what we’ve experienced since we started renting a couple of years ago…easier to find nice places during the winter months and it gets increasingly competitive during the spring/summer.

ParticipantFor the realtors out there…if the market has picked up this spring, just curious from your perspective, who are these buyers? Are they people with foreign money (therefore our prices seem cheaper to them)? Or are these people that have been priced out and so now are jumping in as they think they can get a ‘good deal’? Or is it just the normal diverse buying pool?
From my small corner of the world, I did know 2 people that were selling and in the process of looking for another home, in otherwords upgrading. The timing was simply that they felt it necessary for family needs and felt the pricing right now was doable.
