Especially so since the OP doesn’t seem to know much about Citizenship law. The boyfriend probably didn’t naturalize to get Certificate of Citizenship. It was probably due to birth abroad to a US Citizen.

This has been quite hot since at least 2004. But why MT & WY; what do they want to do there, other than just retiring? In terms of economic liveliness, South and Southeast seem to have some vitality. Also, with increasing energy costs, cold places are expensive to live.

ParticipantI too have a deposit at Countrywide (below FDIC limit) but I am not worried. When they close down (which I think is very probable), FDIC will mail me a check. It may take a couple of days, but I can live with that. BTW, they are giving a good rate on deposits and I like them! Same thing with GMAC Bank; likely to close down but good rates now.
