ParticipantYou are right; I checked up a house we sold in 2006 and it shows a vertical drop of $73,000 in the last week. It had gone down by only $25,000 in about 2 years. I guess REO sales must be kicking in to the valuation algorithm. If the trend continues, values may return to Y2K prices by year end!

ParticipantThe Costco here in Oregon has run out of Jasmine and long grain rice. They only have Basmati, Brown rice and Wild rice. All cost about a $/lb.
