ParticipantSDR, I agree with you. breeze won’t be able to provide a decent answer to your questions. I think he can only have his (or her) position because he either can’t make enough money wants to pull others down, or because he gets income in some way from the govt or a contractor (so higher tax flows down to him).
breeze, if you feel the wealth should be spread around, and are very successful as you say, then there are a lot of places you can donate money to make a difference. You don’t need to pull other people down to achieve that goal.
I had these same feelings about stem cell research, which I do support. John Stossel did some interviews with the wealth people promoting the cause, and pointed out that each of the 5 top supporters could fund the entire requested amount with about 20% of their net worth. If they really felt that strong about it, they should use their money and get the rest by donations, not force it through taxes. I would have donated to the cause, although noting close to that scale. So breeze, where will you donate the millions you have made so far?

If I were to go to your company web site, and look at customer references or the company information page, you are saying that the federal government and/or military contractors are not target customers? I only ask because I think that those who are in favor of higher taxes will be the beneficiaries.
