ParticipantI agree, rent are just… random. I looked at a lot of stuff, there were crappy 3 BR condos asking 500/mo more than I got my gorgeous 3 BR house with a huge lawn on a park for. And they were a longer commute.
I got really good at walking into a place, spending 2 minutes looking at it, saying ‘no’ to the owner and walking out. I’m sure some people got miffed, I don’t give a shit.
