barnaby33ParticipantHey I lost money, but not really since I didn’t sell. Sure feels that way though. Wow what a couple of rough days. Sure do love the FED intervening to stave off the inevitable.

barnaby33ParticipantWhat he basically said was, that the FED controls the market and thats why its never good to bed on the negative (in the long term.) I love how he left himself an out with, “could we see 12k, possibly.”
The FED my want to lower interest rates, but may not be able to. Especially if it actually cares about inflation.
There already seems to be a fair amount of capital flight in terms of the yen, if they cut but thats going to ramp up hard and fast. The market will take it in the shorts the end game is the same.Josh

barnaby33ParticipantIf it doesnt you can always send your lender a little Jingle Mail love letter.
Now thats not very Gary Watts of you. You should have stuck with the first sentence by itself, it only goes up! That way all of new guys calculations pan out. Adjusted for inflation the stock market, in the form of index funds, beats housing every single time. Maybe there are a couple of periods in the last 10 years when that isn’t so, but generally housing is a lousy investment. It is however a great way to keep the sun and wind off of you.

barnaby33ParticipantKeep it wandering guys! The world needs more threads like this. For once its nice to have a positive image of Temecula. I always assumed it was the gun-in-one-hand, bible-in-the-other capital of the lower half of the socio-economic spectrum. It appears I was wrong and there are some superficial, yet physically attractive women there! Thats something, don’t overlook it. I mean if you gotta live in Temecula, you might as well have some nice scenery, because the actual town has done a great job of ruining what was one of the most beautiful spots in inland So-Cal. Temecula could get its own, “Real Men of Genius” bud light radio ad any day of the week, twice on sundays. You guys have given me something really deep to think about, er um look at.
