ParticipantHave the US ever said no to a giving someone from china a visa? Heck no. Do they move here with Visas? heck no. Doesn’t California have millions og illegals? they aren’t all poor people from mexico. A lot are “tourists” with breifcases filled with mao money.

Participantvrundy. lol you make me laugh. Isn’t all of San Diego a giant sand pit with nice homes put up? Almost all of the foliage is planted by man. This whole city would be nothing more than sand dunes with dust balls. Just look at Camp Pendleton area. That is what San Diego looked like. 4S is a nice place and now opens right into Del Sur and CV. No need to hit the ugly 15 to get in and out like it was years ago. But honestly if I rented a condo I would be disgruntled as well about nice houses that I couldn’t afford. Actually wait. I am. lol.

Participantexactly good points. Right now for a European to live here it would cost him $500k Euro but for us americans with a worthless dollar the same home would be $650k. As our dollar hits the skids foreigners can afford to move here and get more bang from trading for greenbacks.

Participantnope , I’m not buying now or anytime soon. To be honest I was really thinking about it in early spring but with May rate spike and now seeing the rates continue sneaking back up, I am content renting right now. I rent a large apt, quiet, clean. No issues. From my observations. 4S and nicer parts of Rancho bernardo will pick up again.
