ParticipantI don’t know about home loans, but I’ve been with SDCCU for years and they’ve been great, although they need to open up a branch in the downtown area.

ParticipantI don’t think the ad is implying that in a perfect world Mexico will re-conquer the western US. It is saying that in a perfect world, Mexico wouldn’t have lost the land to begin with.
That said, and being a SoCal native married to a Mexican, I think the ad is fucking hilarious.

ParticipantIf you are going to say that owning a house leads to an improved childhood, you might as well say that owning a BMW or owning a 60″ flat screen improves your childhood. Its not the owning of stuff, its the *ability* to own stuff, including health care, medicine, educational tools, etc that improves a childhood. Saying that owning a house is itself an indicator of a successful childhood is missing the forrest for the trees.
