The best inspector I have found is Richard Zak. Here’s his website.He’s not cheap but is very thorough and really knows his stuff.

ParticipantGo ahead and loan the money if you do not want to hear from them again. My husband loaned his brother $1,000. over five years ago. That’s the last he heard from him. No, he is not dead. We did not know you could get rid of relatives that easily or we would have done it a long time ago.
