WaMu will fail within the next 90 days?
I will place the probability at more than 90%. If Freddie/Fannie fail in anyway, WaMu can shutter in under 2 weeks. The instability in finance and banking systems is incomprehensible right now. Truth is, nobody has a clue how to solve the problem.

July 12, 2008 at 10:48 AM #238109EconProfParticipantJennyo: Tell the executor to run, not walk, to the WaMu and get out $600k of the $700k into another bank, like Wells. Some depositors in the midwest have lost money this year by not acting preemptively.

90% within 90 days seems right on.
Of course, 90% within 45 days seems just-as-much so.
