At Carriage Realty & American Broker Loans in Torrance, business has dropped for mortgage processing, co-owner Warren Snyder said.

Meanwhile, business is booming at Snyder’s other venture, American Credit Repair, because “people are up to their necks in debt,” he said.

I wonder how many of his former mortgage customers are walking into the doors of his credit repair business.

My bro-in-law is about to start work as a bankruptcy attorney. He was flat out told by the practice, “we have a lot of people coming in saying, I’m going to foreclose.”

They are expecting a huge increase in biz, and are expanding now to handle the onslaught.
